Writer's Productivity & Inspiration Box - January Drop

Cute notebook, and great card set of writing ideas! I would take one more high quality pen over the tchochkes though!

First heard about Write Bad Ideas on Instagram, decided to give it a shot, totally worth it. Box was filled with neat stickers and paperclips and sticky notes and pens and of course a cool notebook. There was a handwritten note saying the quality of the notebook wasn't up to their standards and they are sending a new one to me free. Their standards must be way higher than mine, I didn't see a problem with the book I got. I will most likely get another box from them in the future, I want to support them, and it's stuff I will use.

I got the October box and loved everything in it! I love unboxing everything, it's like a layer cake of fun writing supplies. There were metallic and neon pens to use on the included black sticky notes, cliffhanger dice to help get you out of a writing dead end, Halloween paper clips in fun shapes, a pen with a feather to look like a quill pen, a magnetic book mark in the shape of a coffin, 2 sheets of stickers, a notebook and additional loose Halloween stickers. Everything comes in a box that looks like a book, the whole package is a fun experience to open. I can't wait to order my next box!

For the money, the lack of aesthetic quality of the bundle disappointed me. I wanted stuff that would delight me, but the first box I got was not charming. I am staying subscribed another month to see if it was a fluke. The next box is October and that’s pretty easy for art/design.

I have to start by saying that the customer service is fantastic. My first delivery was marked as delivered, but never arrived. I reached out, asking if they could possibly send a replacement, fully expecting that this wouldn't be covered by their replacement/return policy...They sent me a new package at no cost to me, and it arrived within a week. Really nice and impressive for a smaller company! The first box (July) didn't feel quite as stuffed as I would have liked, but because of my experience with their customer service I gave it another shot the next month. And I am so glad I did, because the August box was a massive improvement. One thing I wished had come in the July box was writing prompts, advice on how to use the products included...And all of that appeared in the August box! I'm not in a position to regularly subscribe, but I look forward to future boxes, and I do intend to keep ordering one box at a time when I'm able!
