Journals made for vomit drafts and imperfect ideas and half-baked ramblings.

Why Write Bad Ideas?
Writing is hard. Starting a project can feel daunting, and finishing can seem impossible.
With this box, we hereby grant you permission to write badly. We’ve all suffered from writer’s block. We spend hours agonizing over perfection, paralyzed by the fear of "bad ideas." Or worse, we never even start because the fear of failure looms too large.
Write Bad Ideas is here to shake things up. With a brand-new notebook and playful supplies arriving each month, you’ll be inspired to let go of perfection and just write. Forget the rules; this is about progress, not perfection.
Give us your tired cliches, your poorly written prose, your tortured plots yearning to make sense. Just leave perfectionism at the door.Â

About us
We're two writers who love notebooks and buy fancy journals but end up too intimidated to actually write in them, worried our ideas aren't worth their beautiful covers and hundreds of pages yet. We wanted to make a notebook that's fun and inspiring but doesn't feel like your idea must be worthy enough to grace it's pages. We talked about how great it would be if our notebooks came with a deadline; and the idea of a writer's notebook subscription service was born. Â
