The Story
Write Bad Ideas is a monthly subscription box for writers that helps them make progress towards their goals by keeping writing fun and low stakes.
We’re two writers who love notebooks and buy fancy journals but end up too intimidated to actually write in them, worried our ideas aren’t worth their beautiful covers and hundreds of pages yet. We wanted to make a notebook that’s fun and inspiring but doesn’t feel like your idea must be worthy enough to grace it’s pages. We talked about how great it would be if our notebooks came with a deadline; and the idea of a writer’s notebook subscription service was born.
In this box, you’ll find tools, inspiration, and the freedom to write fearlessly. You have one month to fill each journal, and we don’t care if you fill it with the worst draft of your life, so long as you fill it. If it goes poorly? You’ve got a new notebook coming at the end of the month and can start fresh. Use this consistent, monthly deadline to conquer procrastination and stay motivated.
